John Henry "Jack" Palmer, Jr., 88 of Albemarle passed away, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Forrest Oakes Health Care Center in Albemarle following a brief illness.
Services will be private.
Jack is survived by his brothers, Charles "Dick" Palmer of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Wayne Palmer of Albemarle and sister, Ellen P. Crews of Thomasville; special and caring friends, Sherrill Aldridge of Albemarle and neighbors, Randall and Mary Butler.
He was preceded in death by brother, Robert V. Palmer.
Jack was born and raised in Albemarle, the oldest son of the late J. H. "Henry" and Beulah Ingold Palmer. He was a lifelong resident of Albemarle. Jack was the owner and operator of Palmer Motor Company. His love of beauty and art showed through his work from cars to portraits.
