Randy Lee's Story
Randy Lee Barrier, 61, of Mocksville, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, February 12, 2018, at his home.
Randy was born September 10, 1956 to C.H. "Shorty" and Nanolyne Austin Barrier in Stanly County, NC. A 1974 graduate of North Stanly High School, he received a degree in electrical engineering from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 1976.
After spending 29 years as a lab service technician for Fisher Scientific, he started his own successful business, Triad Analytic, in 2006. Skilled and industrious, Randy enjoyed his workbut primarily as the means of providing for the family he most enjoyed and loved beyond measure.
Preceded in death by his parents, Randy leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved wife of 18 years, Julee Hege Barrier of the home; daughter Amanda (Christopher) Burcham of Winston-Salem; son Paul Barrier of Mocksville; stepson James Hege of Charlotte; two sistersCarol Barrier (Roy Gallagher) of San Diego, CA and Susan (Richard) Russell of New London; brother Ronald (Diana) Barrier of Concord; the wife of his youth and mother of his children, Ina Beavers of Mocksville; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at a service to celebrate Randy's life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, at Union Hill Baptist Church in Clemmons, with Randy's son-in-law, Rev.
