Eula Talbert Davis, 87, of Albemarle passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 in CHS Stanly, Albemarle. Her funeral will be 3 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Albemarle Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ronald Thompson and Rev. James Valk officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 until 3 PM prior to the hour of the service.
Born January 1, 1930 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Walter Ray Talbert and Zula Sanders Talbert and was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mills. She worked for many years at Loving Care Day Care and Sweet Home Day Care. She was a member of the Albemarle Wesleyan Church for over 50 years. She was very active in the life of the church and was a Sunday School teacher for over 50 years. She also was a volunteer for many years with the Stanly Regional Medical Center Women's Auxiliary.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Lee Davis in 1996. Survivors include daughter Pennie Davis Rabon and husband Jerrell of Albemarle, brother Roy Talbert of Indian Trail, twin sister Beulah Talbert Cagle of Albemarle, granddaughter Sonya Rabon Moose and husband Howard of Albemarle, great-grandchildren Nathan Howard Moose and Davis Gene Moose. A great-granddaughter Breann Lee Moose preceded her in death.
