David K. Chester, II, 48 of Spokane, Wa., formerly of Albemarle, passed on Sept. 15, 2017.
He was born in Iwakuni, Japan on Feb. 28, 1969.
Mr. Chester was a disabled Navy veteran of the Persian Gulf War.
He was predeceased by his father, David K. Chester, Sr., of Spokane.
He is survived his son, David A. Chester of Callum Bay, Wa., his mother Clarice Moore of Albemarle; his brother, Daniel Chester of Albemarle and his nephew, Eric Chester of Albemarle along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery in Spokane on Sept. 27 with military honors.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Morrow Mountain State Park lodge at 2 p.m. Oct. 29 for all family and friends of David.
